Decking the halls

November 26th, 2010 by Judy Trull

One of the most fun times of year here at the Lindsay House is when we get to decorate the Inn for Christmas.  I say that now, of course, when your in the throws of decorating, it might not appear to the innocent passer by, that we are having fun.  We are fortunate that our daughter Morgan, though not one of her favorite things to do, is willing and able to put up the lights on the house when Tim is not here.  Tim prefers to use a ladder to put up the lights, however Morgan is not of the same mind.  She figures it’s just as easy to go out the second story window that you can step out onto a small landing and then head onto the roof.  Either way it makes no difference to me as long as I am not the one who has to do it.  I have never grown accustomed to being off the ground in any way, so as long as they are willing to do the trimming with lights, I am more than willing to let them.  So here is to the official kick off of the holiday season at Lindsay House Bed & Breakfast.  Cheers!
