Murder Mystery Weekend

Gather your friends for a “who done it”!  Check in Friday evening and enjoy a “mix & mingle” cocktail party with drinks & hourderves and find out what mystery is afoot, give and receive clues and begin to sumize and solve the case.  Saturday morning arise to the wonderful aroma of a full gourmet breakfast.  Chat around the breakfast table and continue to gain insight . Saturday afternoon is yours to discover and explore the wonders that are Waupaca County.  Enjoy a hike, shopping, antiques and all types of other recreation.  Saturday evening back at the Inn enjoy a catered dinner, where more clues will be revealed and the murderer or murderess will finally be brought to justice.  Fun will certainly be had by all as you work together to solve the case.  $49 per person in addition to lodging.

Southwestern Cooking Class

Enjoy learning to cook with seasoned cook Pat Latch.  Pat was raised in Arizona and has worked in the food service industry alot of her life.  As you may have noted in our blog, tacos are one of Pat’s comfort foods and she enjoys getting in the kitchen and being creative.  So join us in welcoming her for her debut cooking class here at Lindsay House Bed & Breakfast on April 24th, 2010.  She will be cooking up some of her specialties such as pico de gallo, quesadillas, fajitas, tacos.  All served up with a healthy side of humor and knowledge in the art of not only preparing but also serving the meal in a way that will enchant your guests and make them feel comfortable.  $39 per person, space is limited

Romance & Roses
As you enter your room, you’ll notice your bed is strewn with rose petals. A tray of homemade chocolate truffles and a wonderful Wisconsin wine as well as a selection of romantic movies and music will await you. In the morning your beverage tray will be ready just outside your bedroom door and you’ll awaken to the delicious smells of a gourmet breakfast emanating from the kitchen. • 1-night stay: $149 ,|2-night stay: $199

The Ultimate Romance Special
Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed with a complimentary beverage and dessert. Each morning, enjoy a gourmet breakfast in the formal dining room. Spa in the Woods will also be reserved exclusively for you and your special someone. You’ll have a half hour in the therapeutic hot tub at the top of the old silo with its unique and wonderful view. Then each of you will receive a one-hour massage to make all your cares go away. In the evening, Smith’s Manawa Steak House will serve you a delicious meal with complimentary drinks and an appetizer.
