This Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. you can enjoy a crisp, fall day and tour some stunning historical homes in the Village of Rural, just outside of Waupaca, very near the Chain o’ Lakes and home to the Crystal River, which meanders through this picturesque, historic Village.  Tour 6 Homes on the National Register of Historic Places .The village of Rural was settled in 1850 by settlers of British heritage that migrated here from the Eastern United States. Visit the homes of the first settlers in a “New England Village in the heart of Wisconsin”. There will be narrated tours of the following homes: The Radley House (1886, The Halfway House (1852), The Dake House (1860), The Ashmun House (1854), The Millinery Shop and The Potts Farm (1853). Food and Beverages will be available.
