We had some additional guests checking in and were again pleasantly surprised to find them driving Hot Rods. Arrive in style they did, and here are the photos to prove it. I enjoy this part of this business in a big way, people sharing their hobbies or should I say more accurately their passion for all things automotive. They are heading for the Symco Shakedown today, which despite some weather challenges is having a phenomenal turn-out.
As I was awaiting our guests arrival today, I heard somewhat of a rumble outside and looked out the window and saw a few hot rods pulling up in the driveway. This has to be one of the most fun things about being an Innkeeper, during different events in our area. In July during the Old Iola Car Show we had a Packard parked in our driveway. Since I missed my opportunity to post pictures of Father Herrick’s Packard, I didn’t want to miss my chance to post these Hot Rod pictures. Captain Bob & Arlo of Milwaukee’s Hot Rod Radio 1340AM are in town for the Symco Shakedown.
