You have to love any event that is associated with the phrase “the music goes on forever, the party never ends”. This is the mantra of the Little Creek Music Festival, this Saturday June 9, 2012, from Noon until Midnight. See The Arkdale Ramblers, Loose Strings, The Heartland String Band, and of course my personal favorite, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, which is such a great name and who else would or could put out their latest CD “Pig Tails and Coffin Nails”! Little Creek Music Festival is held at Steingraber’s Farms located at N7098 Bestul Road just outside Manawa. Even some local favorites, Jeanne Bauer, Tammy Drath, Bourbon Creek, John & Cindy Evans. There is “rough camping” available for $5.00 per person, please call in advance if possible 920-596-3607/920-538-2072 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Bring a chair, bring a friend to The Best Little Music Festival and enjoy some wonderful music and time to sit and enjoy the beauty of Central Wisconsin.

This weekend I learned something new about Waupaca County, from some guests of mine. It is the Little Creek Music Festival 2o10. It is being held June 27, 2010 at Steingraber’s Ponds at N7048 Bestul Rd just outside of Manawa. The festival starts at 11 a.m. till the music’s done. The featured musicians will be Tammy Drath & Jeanne Bauer performing with Loose Strings, a local bluegrass/folk/swing band. The Heartland String Band featuring folk/country/bluegrass music, and the triumphant return of The Arkdale Ramblers. Bring your own chairs, carry-ins are o.k. and there will also be food and beverages available. You will also be able to give a free will donation to help pay for the bands.
