Musical musings at the Manawa Steak House

Wednesday, February 8th, 2012

We have had the good fortune and fun to have these ladies playing here at our Inn, and they will once again be featured on March 17th at Smith’s Manawa Steak House.  Joyce, Ann and Laurie have alot of fun together and that really shines through in their music.  It is not only a treat to hear music live, but knowing that they have so much fun doing it is what sets these ladies apart.  It is wonderful to have them playing at a local restaurant right here in Manawa.  So come on out and enjoy a delicious, ample dinner at the Steak House while enjoying the musical selections of Ivory Winds with Strings Attached!

Sink your teeth into Smith’s Manawa Steak House

Saturday, April 9th, 2011

Smith’s Manawa Steak House right here in our own backyard is a gem.  Friendly staff, delicious food, generous portions all served in an atmosphere with your family in mind.  When I tell our guests about Smith’s, I often will say it is a quintessential supper club atmosphere.  The Smith family are avid sportsmen, which explains the decor in the bar, some of the “trophy” worthy things that they have accumulated over time are displayed there.  Several years ago they did a total remodel and added on to the building as well, the beautiful custom wood bar, tongue and groove woodwork really pays homage to a rustic north woods cabin feeling.  They offer something for everyone on their well rounded menu, and specials each night of the week, Wednesdays is burger night, Thursdays is authentic Mexican cuisine (yummmm), Friday is their land and sea buffet, just to name a few.  I have always been pleased with the service and kindness shown not only to myself and my family, but also more importantly to our guests that we often refer to the Steak House!  John & Robyne and their staff are top notch, they are the best! Music in Manawa

Tuesday, June 1st, 2010

We have some musical action happening here in Manawa this Friday evening, June 4th at Smith’s Manawa Steak House. Not only is it Friday evening, featuring the Land and Sea buffet, which is newsworthy in it’s own right.  John & Robyne are featuring performer Paula Slow from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. I have seen Paula perform once before and her range and musical selections dabble in varying genre’s.  I’ve heard her inspire with a gospel tune and then turn around and sing some Rascal Flats.  Come to Smith’s Manawa Steak House this Friday evening, enjoy some dinner and stay for the musical musings of Paula Slow….sure to be a magical time.
