“Another wonderful experience...Judy’s hospitality, personality and special touches made this a most memorable stay for us.”

Our Wisconsin inn: gazebo

About Our Bed & Breakfast

Nestled in the lovely City of Manawa, Wisconsin, this Victorian home was built in 1892 for Arthur Lindsay and his family. The building has been lovingly updated with the creature comforts we’ve all come to enjoy. Each room at our WI inn has central heat, air conditioning and private bathrooms for your convenience. The furnishings are an eclectic mix of old and new. All rooms feature handcrafted queen size beds.

In the backyard, numerous examples of nature’s beauty grace our half acre of partially wooded grounds. Take a stroll and stop to smell the flowers, pick a black raspberry when in season, enjoy a small bonfire, or just sit and relax in the gazebo. Towering trees and a two story carriage house border this sanctuary offering a tranquil setting for you to languish in. There are many places to sit and relax: rock yourself to sleep on the front porch or have a seat among flowers and trees. Perhaps your looking for a more “active” break from the “norm”, nestled in the heart of Waupaca County there is plenty of hiking, biking, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, boating, and many more outdoor activities to enjoy around us and return to the bed and breakfast in the evening to kick off your shoes and enjoy a freshly baked treat.

Inside, curl up on  the living room sofa, watch TV in the upstairs lounge or get to know your fellow guests in the parlor. Business travelers will appreciate the availability of WiFi and televisions in each room. The Lindsay House offers a great opportunity for your team to get out of the office for meetings and retreats. The relaxing setting of our Waupaca County inn also makes it a perfect place for gatherings of friends & family, girlfriend getaways,  romantic getaways and memorable anniversaries.
