The Inn
Nestled in the lovely City of Manawa, Wisconsin, this Victorian home was built in 1892 for Arthur Lindsay and his family. The building has been lovingly updated with the creature comforts we’ve all come to enjoy. Each room at our WI inn has central heat, air conditioning and private bathrooms for your convenience. The furnishings are an eclectic mix of old and new. All rooms feature handcrafted queen size beds.
In the backyard, numerous examples of nature’s beauty grace our half acre of partially wooded grounds. Take a stroll and stop to smell the flowers, pick a black raspberry when in season, enjoy a small bonfire, or just sit and relax in the gazebo. Towering trees and a two story carriage house border this sanctuary offering a tranquil setting for you to languish in. There are many places to sit and relax: rock yourself to sleep on the front porch or have a seat among flowers and trees. The gardens also provide a wonderful private wedding location. We would be honored to host your special day at this beautiful outdoor site.
Inside, curl up on one of the living room sofas, watch TV in the upstairs lounge or get to know your fellow guests in the parlor. Business travelers will appreciate the availability of Wi-Fi and, upon request, a telephone and cable television for their rooms. The Lindsay House offers a great opportunity for your team to get out of the city for meetings and retreats. The relaxing setting of our WI inn also makes it a perfect place for gatherings of friends & family, romantic getaways and memorable anniversaries.
